Meet Christie Thayer. Her love for real estate can be traced back to her earlv childhood. Whether she was touring model homes on weekends w/ her siblings or eavesdropping on the details of her father’s acquisitions, the real estate business had already begun to captivate her. Directly out of high school, she attended real estate school, becoming a sales agent at 18. Transitioning to the investment side of the business, she acquired her first property and tenant a year later. Her love of finance, and business in general, was discovered when she was sought out to assist a friend with the management of her family’s dental practice. Within three ears she was offered a partnership in the offices, and we grew the revenue by 400% while scaling the single practice to 3 locations. On a trip to acquire more rental investment properties, she was again intrigued; however this time, it was by the residential new construction side of real estate. After investing in several residential new construction projects, interning with a real estate development firm, and then being mentored by the lead developer, she felt ready to branch out on my own, and Christie Thayer Design + Build was born.
